Weekly Update 🎉: Why I Missed Your Emails and Team Progress
TL;DR
- Email replies were going to the wrong inbox, please resend to info@nabb.app
- Development paused on big features until cofounder team is in place
- Users are still saving daily, validating Nabb’s “better save button” vision
- Content strategy is evolving, still testing to find the right voice
- Most of my time is going into cofounder interviews and planning v2 of the MVP
Hi Everyone,
Quick note before the update: I just discovered that replies to these emails have been landing in an inbox I cannot access. Which means if you wrote me at any point over the last year, I unfortunately never saw it. I feel bad about missing your thoughts, and I would love it if you could forward anything you sent to info@nabb.app. That is now the right address and should show up when you hit reply.
If you see Nabb Update nabb-app@ghost.io please avoid using it. Sorry again for the mix-up and thank you for your patience with me on this.
Development Update
We have paused major new feature work and are only monitoring usage and addressing data issues as they come up. The next chapter of Nabb depends on getting the right founding team in place. Once that happens we will return to the rapid pace of iteration we had this summer and begin shaping v2 of the product.
Growth and Engagement
Even without new features, users continue to save daily. This is a strong sign that Nabb is delivering value and that the need is real. On the social side, we are still searching for the right messaging. Some experiments have worked, others have not, but I remain confident in a founder-led build-in-public approach. The key is finding the right tone and story that resonates.
Team Update
This is where I am spending most of my time. I am having daily conversations with people who are interested in working on Nabb, from coffee chats to more formal interviews. Each one makes me more optimistic that we are close to finding the right team. I believe the people we bring in now will be the ones who change the trajectory of Nabb in the long run.
This Week’s Focus
- Continue networking, interviews, and conversations with potential cofounders
- Begin shaping v2 of the MVP, including rough wireframes and planning data pipelines to support a clearer strategy
Looking Ahead
These past weeks have been both exciting and a bit of a waiting game. I know the future of Nabb depends on finding the right people, and while that takes time, it is worth the effort. I am optimistic that the conversations happening now will soon turn into real partnerships. This is about more than talent, it is about building with people I want to work alongside for years. Progress is being made and I am excited about where this headed.
