Weekly Update 🎉: Early Access is Live, Confirm Your Spot!

TL;DR
- You are invited to test the app!
- Confirm your Apple ID email by replying to this message (the personal email linked to your Apple account)
- If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’d prefer to wait until public launch
- Goal: Use your feedback to improve the app ahead of a public launch in early September
Hi friends,
Instead of a typical update this week, I’ve got something better.
I’m officially opening the app to early testers and you’re invited.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be letting people in through TestFlight in small batches to test the very first version of Nabb. It’s still early and still imperfect, but this is the most important step yet. I’m looking for real people to help shape what this becomes.
If you want to join the early testing group, here’s what to do:
- Reply to this email and confirm that this is your Apple ID email or send me the correct one. TestFlight only works with Apple ID emails (the one you use for the App Store or iCloud).
- I’ll be sending invites in batches of 20 on a first come first served basis.
- If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’d prefer to wait for the public launch. No pressure either way, and I’ll follow up when that time comes.
As a test user, you’ll be asked to fill out a short survey after your first couple weeks with the app. I’ll also be reaching out to some testers for optional interviews to dive deeper into what’s working, what’s not, and where we can improve.
And don't worry, I know some of you saved a good amount of content in Matchbox, that data isn’t lost. In the coming weeks, I’ll be migrating those older saves into your Nabb profile. For now though, everyone will start fresh. This makes it easier to test the new flow and surface any issues early.
And just in case you’re curious, here’s a quick update on where things stand:
Development Updates
We’ve already fixed a few key bugs thanks to early feedback:
- Onboarding flow no longer blocks access to the app
- You can now create lists without needing to save anything first
- Google and email sign-in are now stable and working smoothly
Growth Updates
After two exciting weeks traveling in California and Hawaii, we’ve got some fun behind-the-scenes videos in the works. Expect to see them roll out over the next few weeks.
This Week’s Focus
Getting more users into the app and gathering as much feedback as possible.
Looking Ahead
It’s game time. Our goal is to have the app ready for public launch by early September and to start planning what v2 should look like. That will help us raise funds with a clear vision and real traction.
Thanks again for being part of this. Whether you're testing the app now or watching from the sidelines, I’m glad you’re here.
