Hi Everyone,

We’re firing on all cylinders this week with lots of exciting progress as we enter the next chapter for Nabb.

Team Updates

We’ve officially kicked off our cofounding trial, and over the past week we’ve been getting real reps together: ideating, building, and refining how we collaborate. It’s been incredibly energizing to work closely with people who bring deeper technical expertise to the table.

It already feels like we’ve found a rhythm where 1+1+1 is greater than 3. The level of collaboration and shared ownership is helping ideas move faster from concept to execution, and the chemistry has been really encouraging to see.

Development Updates

This has been one of the most exciting stretches of product thinking since Nabb began. After several working sessions focused on our core value proposition, we’ve aligned on a much tighter product direction for what the app needs to be today.

We realized that while saving social content is useful, it’s only part of the story. The real need people have in the moment of discovery is speed. Getting from the thing that inspires them to the place where they can buy, do, or learn more, is the top priority.

So, we’re flipping the structure. The new version of Nabb will make research and action the main experience, and saving the secondary feature. When someone shares a post, Nabb will instantly surface the most relevant links and context to help them explore that content further, while still saving everything for later reference.

We’re building this in a way that works entirely within Instagram and feels conversational, just like texting a friend. Our goal is to have this experience live in the next 2–3 weeks. Once it’s up, we’ll be watching closely to see how people respond to having our most important output (the curated links) front and center.

Growth Updates

On the growth side, we’re shifting gears too. We’ve kicked off a new daily video campaign on @patbuildsanapp. For most of this year, posts have focused on building the app, but some of the best performing ones have been about the personal side of entrepreneurship, the challenges, reflections, and behind-the-scenes moments.

So going forward, I’ll be posting a new video every day. Nabb will still be a common thread, but I’ll mix in broader topics about building, creativity, and conversations with others doing cool things. The goal is to make the account feel more like a true creator feed and expand our reach and engagement.

If you want to help, the best thing you can do is like and share each post. Every small signal tells Instagram that the content is worth promoting to new audiences.

This Week’s Focus

  • Engineering: Test processing Instagram links into structured metadata, refine the prompt workflow in Dify, and build the first version of the web app shell.
  • Product/UX: Finalize v1 of the web app design, polish the data taxonomy for how we label extracted elements, and build a short-term roadmap for upcoming releases.
  • Growth: Continue the daily video push, streamline the creation workflow, and refine how we communicate Nabb’s new focus across our website, deck, and user messaging.

Looking Ahead

This past week has been one of the most motivating periods in a long time. Bringing new people into the fold has opened up stronger discussions about what we’re building and why. It’s also helped clarify what Nabb is, and just as importantly, what it’s not.

The first version of the MVP tried to do too much at once. This next version will be sharper, faster, and more focused on solving the single biggest pain point users face when interacting with social content. If we can nail that, it opens the door to building something truly special.

Working with a team has been a huge boost, both in creativity and accountability. It’s exciting to see how far we can take this together.

Very excited for the weeks ahead!
