This week was all about making Matchbox faster, more flexible, and scalable. I spent time in Austin with Divelement, working through key improvements to the backend and data pipeline to ensure smooth content organization and retrieval.
Key Progress:
- User Interviews Completed – Wrapped up most of our user interviews, gathering insights that will shape improvements to search, filtering, and organization.
- Backend Optimization – Worked with Divelement to refine how data is stored, processed, and retrieved, making the system more efficient and responsive.
- Scalability Planning – Ensuring our infrastructure can support millions of saved content pieces while keeping the app fast and intuitive.
Growth & Content Updates
We’re continuing to build an audience for @patbuildsanapp, and early engagement has been promising. The focus now is creating a sustainable content strategy to keep people interested beyond major progress updates.
